Marine diesel – wide range of marine diesel engines are contained in Dieselzipservice’s catalogue

Marine diesel generators are used as auxiliary or emergency source of three-phase alternating current electrical power on river and marine vessels. Power plants certified by Register of River and Shipping of Russian Federation. Diesel generators are completed with diesel engines made by Russian producers: “Avtodiesel” JSC, “Tutaev engine plant” JSC, “Minsk engine plant” PD, “Vadimir tractor plant” JSC; completed with Russian generators BG- and GS-series, South Korean generators Bokuk and automatic control system.

1. Electricity power of three-phase alternating current for river and marine vessels with 380 or 220 V phase-to-phase voltage and 50 Hz frequency.

2. Power series:

1) Auxiliary diesel generators

    • With River Register certificate (with dual-cycle cooling system) 30, 50, 60, 75, 100, 150, 200 kW.
    • With River Register certificate (air-cooling) 12, 16, 20, 30 kW
    • With Russian Marine Register certificate 30, 50, 60, 75, 100 kW
    • With Russian Marine Register certificate in heated block-module with radiator cooling system 30, 50, 60, 75, 100 kW

2) Emergency diesel generators

    • With River Register certificate 16, 30, 50, 60, 75, 100 kW
    • With Russian Marine Register certificate 30, 50, 60, 75, 100 kW

3) Power modules – diesel engine with full strapping of oil system and cooling system, water-to-water cooler, oil-to-water cooler, sea-water pump, double-wire electrical equipment, with automatic on whittled frame, with straight joint.

3. Work in permanent, reserve or emergency source of electrical power modes.

4. Capability to work normal in overheating conditions of air in machine space (up to 50 degrees C) and in time of considerable angle of rake of vessel (short-time heel - up to 45 degrees, during roll – up to 22,5 degrees).

5. Auxiliary diesel generators have engine cooling system – liquid dual-braking circulatory with outside water using (pump lift of outside water – 1,5 m). Emergency diesel generators have liquid radiator cooling system.

6. Automatic stabilization of generator voltage and its frequency with an accuracy of ±1% in steady-state.

7. Control capabilities and parameter checkout of engine and generator operation from two control rooms: field auxiliary room (FAR) and single mooring point (SMP). FAR – main post – contains microprocessor controller and set direct on diesel generator or within 25 m from it in machine space.

8. Automatic protection due to engine stop in emergency situations (with alarm sending to both control stations)

9. Low-voltage system of electrical equipment – double-wire, with 24 V voltage of direct current.

10. Electro-heating system powers by single-phase alternating current.

11. Automatization on first and second degree (for auxiliary diesel generators):

First degree: handing diesel generator control, automatic stabilization of its voltage and frequency, generator surge protection from short-circuit current, engine protection from overheating and low oil pressure, additional charge AB, diesel generator condition control.

Second degree: all functions of first degree, electro-heating, auto-start of generator, load acceptance, load rejection, generator stop.

For vessel DG second degree differs from first degree just with electro-heating. There are three variants of vessel DG start:

    • From field auxiliary room (FAR)
    • From single mooring point (SMP)
    • Under command from MDB (main distribution board)

All diesel generators are flange mounted, what exclude necessity of balancing check after assembling them on a craft and during operational process.

Diesel and power generator are frame-mounted trough shock-absorbing mounts. Diesel generators have dual-cycling cooling system, which units (sea-water pump, water-to-water and oil-to-water coolers) fit onto diesel generator.

All diesel generators competed with local and off-vehicle control consoles. Electro-heating system is mounted on second automatization degree diesel generators (coolant preheater) for in order to support them in hot reserve mode. Low-voltage system of electrical equipment is double-wire with 24 direct current V voltage; electro-heating system is powered by 220 V single-phase alternating current. Local control console is mounted on diesel generator. Exhaust collectors are heat-insolated.
